What the audit computes, and how

The audit models what moving app-store subscribers to direct web billing does to your P&L and your cash cycle. Four outputs: your current store fees for the year at your blended rate, the cash held in the stores’ settlement queue, the recurring margin recovered across three migration-rate scenarios, and the one-time cash release as that queue collapses to your country’s Stripe payout schedule.

The arithmetic is the same model the migration playbook publishes on its fixed $5M reference book — web costs carry Stripe’s published processing rate for your billing country plus Stripe Billing at 0.7%, store settlement is modelled at the stores’ 48-day average, and the platform is a flat 2% on the connected web book. The audit simply runs that model on your numbers instead of the reference book’s.

Every figure it returns is an estimate to be replaced by a measurement: the pilot exists to swap the modelled migration rate for one measured on your own base against a matched holdout, before anything scales.

Questions worth answering before you run it

How long does the audit take?

About sixty seconds. Two numbers — store-billed ARR and your blended store fee — produce the first figures; plan mix, prices and billing country sharpen them. Results render on the page immediately, with a shareable link and an emailed copy.

How accurate are the figures?

They are honest estimates, not measurements: computed from Stripe's published pricing for your billing country, Stripe Billing at 0.7%, and the inputs you set. The migration rate is presented as scenarios (40% / 55% / 70%) because it is the one number no model settles — a two-week pilot measures it on your own book against a matched holdout.

Do you see my subscriber data?

No. The audit runs on aggregate numbers you type in — ARR, fee rate, plan mix. No store connection, no subscriber records, no SDK.

What happens after I run it?

You get the live report on the page, a link you can send to colleagues that reopens with your numbers loaded, and a private Migration Hub for next-step review. Nothing is scheduled and nobody calls you — the next step is yours to take.
